Building a Monster Upper Back

A huge and thick upper back is the hallmark of the alpha strength athlete. Only those with the fortitude and will to train with the requisite intensity will achieve the kind of upper back that literally intimidates and inspires awe in all who see it.

If you truly want the biggest and strongest back possible, it is necessary to combine the best of both the powerlifting and bodybuilding worlds!

Thanks for posting. Gives me a nice glimpse of where I am at the moment. I have about 3 pounds fewer LBM but I am also about 3/4 inch shorter. I am carrying more weight, so it is sort of hard to see how I will look when I cut. Your pictures give me some idea.

It's refreshing that you seem very accurate with your BF% assessment. Most guys would claim 10% instead of 14% in your first pics. It's a common thing to do as each 1% lower BF% you claim "magically" gives you about 2.5 pounds more LBM (muscle).... if you hold bodyweight constant.

Any idea what your chest (relaxed) measures at the moment? About 45" - 46" or so?

I would be interested in any other measurements you feel comfortable giving out (forearm, bicep, thigh, neck), as well as how and where the measurements were taken (i.e. flexed or unflexed; what point on the thigh, etc).
