A huge and thick upper back is the hallmark of the alpha strength athlete. Only those with the fortitude and will to train with the requisite intensity will achieve the kind of upper back that literally intimidates and inspires awe in all who see it.

If you truly want the biggest and strongest back possible, it is necessary to combine the best of both the powerlifting and bodybuilding worlds!

Me at 7.0%BF - DEXA

Here's my latest dexa from last week, also took some pics the following day to show what a true 7.0% looks like. DEXA is the most accurate BF% testing available too.

weight at test was 175 lbs

Nice. Kind of interesting how much each side differs in BF%. If I were you though, I would've cut off the top half in the first three pictures, that has all your info... But maybe that's just my dad talking.

QFT, fathead. Actually, I'm guessing it's due to the grey matter between his ears.

Damnit, now I might have to try to set a goal for 7-8% bf instead of 10%.

You should try to get your head fat down to 7%, too. That should be your new goal.

BTW, try to post your pics right side up next time!

Thanks for the comments!

Bill - Came down from ~15% in Feb. just took my time for it and didn't have any goals in mind. I just found foods that I liked to eat along with a decent workout regime and just went at it.

Behemouth- only $90.00

I was 175lbs in the pics (dehydrated, shoudl have been 178) and now I'm up to 185 lbs, Think I'll just keep at it without changes till I hopefully get to 200 lbs.

Very interesting. You look tremendous, but not what I see 7% associated with when people are speaking of "this is what x% really looks like." I'd put you more in the 9% range by that standard. Goes to show that it's very very difficult to tell from pictures, everyone is different. Again, you look great - wish I could be anywhere near it.

How much did the DEXA scan cost you? I'd be very interested in getting one done to have a true baseline.

That's because people always think they are leaner than they really are.

I was actually viewing it as the opposite. Most people think they're leaner, yes. Most threads that try to prove that point go too far in the opposite direction, imo.
