Building a Monster Upper Back

A huge and thick upper back is the hallmark of the alpha strength athlete. Only those with the fortitude and will to train with the requisite intensity will achieve the kind of upper back that literally intimidates and inspires awe in all who see it.

If you truly want the biggest and strongest back possible, it is necessary to combine the best of both the powerlifting and bodybuilding worlds!

HAHAHAHA pure awesomeness right there.

He really looks like a fish out of water the way he flops around on the bench like that.

What is even funnier is that for an hour and a half that is the only exercise he does with like 5 minute breaks inbetween each set. He was still doing it when I left and that was at the hour and a half mark and he was there before I got there.

Hey, Lones and Vick....maybe my bench would improve if I did all that wobbling and dancing around with my legs before I set up....

He does all of that and does one rep....about 20 sets so can't see him maxing. I don't even know what to call that exercise. The close grip pump press maybe....LOL.

haha. I would have busted out laughing.... Heck, I busted out laughing at the video.

My old training partner is a great guy, someone I consider to be a good friend, but that video really reminded me of him. He was a heavier guy who'd slimmed down from being even heavier who'd flop around like that from time to time on the bench if he was struggling with the weight. Imagine a 275 lb guy wiggling and flopping like that. He'd have parts moving in a way they just shouldn't be moving, shimmying and doing circles and things. My wife would start singing "watch it wiggle..... see it jiggle....... J.... E.... L... L....O...) very loudly every time he did it. I can see her singing it for these guys or saying something much worse (she actually liked our friend, for strangers, who knows what she'd say).
