The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Pushup - Resistance?

What is the weight pushed when one does a pushup. For example im 140 pounds but cant bench press 135, yet can do several pushups. So the pushup weight isn't my bodyweight. Does anyone know a rough amount of what a pushup is to ones bodyweight?

    hope that makes sense.

Well I was placed my hands in a push ups position and the resistance came out as 89 lbs. After eating dinner, I'm currently 150 lbs so I'm assuming somewhere around 60% of your body weight?

    EDIT:
After researching, one internet site states that you push about 65% of your body weight. That seems about right.

My bad. After testing it for several times, it comes out as about 95 lbs for me.
    95/150 = 63%
