The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    My HST program

After taking a week off training, I plan to start a HST program.

It looks to be very promising

    Here's my training routine:

    Squats x 2
    Leg Curl x 2
    Bench Press x 2
    Lats Pulldown x 1
    Bent-over Row x 1
    Shoulder Press x 2
    Shrugs x 2
    BB Curls x 2
    Overhead Rope Ext x 2

I'll probably drop the volume down to half the sets as the intensity increases over the weeks. Guess I'll have to gauge my own progress before making that decision

For you HST guys, I have a couple questions:

    1. How does this look?
    2. I'm using 2 different exercises for my back, rather than 2 sets of a single movement. Is that a good idea?

    Cheers!

Looks ok to me. Why not add some calf raises and some ab exercise? I use two differnet exercises for chest and back too. I do one set of everything.

Where are you calf raises bro? Also 2 sets is too many stick to 1 right from the start thats a mistake that I made. Why 2 exercises for back and only 1 for chest? I personally dont think that shrugs are all that necessary but whatever floats your boat. BTN presses and rows will be suffice for your traps in my opinion. I would drop the overhead rope ext. and go with some traditional lying ez-curl or BB ext. Just my $.02.
