    Looking for advice & tips on losing fat & gaining muscle..

    Hey im a newb to the forum & ive been reading up on some of the topics & theres ALOT of advice given here. Ive read the guidelines & faqs already so im good 2 go...but n e ways...im 19 yrs old, 280 lbs, 6'3....im a track & field thrower for my college & i have ALOT of muscle but i also have fat too...but im looking for advice & tips on ways 2 continue lifting & get big, but also lose some of the fat in certain areas. Thanx alot for u guys input, anything would help..

    You can't pick and choose which areas you want to lose fat in. What does your diet look like? Do you use or have you heard of Fitday.com?

    Nutrition is a huge key to lose weight... and should help put on strength and muscle as well. Theres a lot of info on this in these forums.
