is that normal? i havent really had this pain before, but i did do more weight than normal.
i did the barbell with weights...heres what i did:
does that seem normal, like i said, ive never had it hurt like this, at first it seemed like i slept on it the wrong way and i thought id go away in the morning, but it didnt and i thought what it could be and i remembered it could have been the shrugs.
so, what do you guys say...?

i dont know what doms is. it is the worst pain ive gotten from shrugs, i mean its not bad i can still get around, it just hurts, id say its a pretty sharp pain, it huts just sitting here, not bad though, when i roll my neck around and move my shoulders it hurts...
how is your form? That is a lot of weight for your bw. Are you rolling your shoulders or shruging straight up and down?

Looks to me like you're overtraining a bit much
the lifting trainer says i am doing them right and he definetly knows his stuff so i believe him. im pulling straight up and going down, not too fast but not real slow.
im not going to lie, im pretty strong for my size, and im very low on bf if that helps clarify...
its my traps...

As we speak my traps are very sore. However, I love it. I did shrugs very hard the other day and im paying for it in a good way today. The bone where my neck starts (I'm guessing the first vertibre) also is hurting today from holding the bar while doing squats/calf raises.

I dont think lifting more shows your muscles are growing...
Lifting more will generaly make your muscles grow due to more stress.
If you want to lift alot more try doing tripels until you get to 350-400 and repping out.
This always put the most weight on my shrug VS doing sets of 10 up to your heavy set.

if your form is alright, just rest and it should go away. but, rest. but your form is probably wrong.

lol...my traps are fine now, im guessing it was stress. and after watching like 10 instructional videoes im pretty sure my form was dead on accurate.
