Is it hard to put on muscle with a high BF%?

Is it harder to put on muscle when you have a higher BF%, or does it make no difference?

Insulin sensitivity wanes at higher bodyfat, so, yes. Dieted-down lean, you get rebound fat-gain. Overfat, you have a partitioning problem. There appears to be a sweet spot in between.

    Good luck finding yours.

Hmm, anyway I can check this insulin sensitivity you speak of? Also, what does insulin sensitivity have to do with getting big?

    I'm 197 pounds, 6'1, probably 22% BF.

    Oh, and by the way...

Once you find your happy medium in calorie consumption - could you help me find mine?

    Best,
    ADT
According to Purdue University and PubMed, I am classified as an individual who subjects himself to "chronic peanut ingestion and consumption".
