The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Adjusting to low carbs..

Hey guys. For those of you who went on UD 2.0/Atkins etc..how long did it take for your body to become atleast somewhat accustomed to the low amount of carbs? I'm taking in about 65 right now and it's my first day on UD 2.0 and it's freaking bad as hell. I'm already taking in 4 Nitor tabs and I'm sure that helps but damn. I'm sure it gets more tolerable after the first few days right?

So I'm guessing that next week should be a whole lot easier than this week, right? I know that once I get through the first few days it'll be better, but in the mean time I want to rip my hair out.

Are you supposed to do lowfat with UD2.0? I don't remember and I donít have the book handy.
Atkins is ass-high fats. During Atkins induction, on 1600-ish calories my macros would look like this:

    Protein 120g
    Fat 120g
    Carb 20g

Yeah, it recommends that no more than 20% of daily cals come from carbs. I'm right at 20% right now. You also want atleast 1g protein per lbm. I'm a bit over that, but I want to be safe. The rest comes from fat. He said most will be in the 20-40-ish range, and I'm on the high end of that.

Looking to lose about 9 lbs of fat. That would take me to about 150 lbs and 8-9% bodyfat. From there on out I'm going on a very slow clean bulk until I hit about 12-13% and then repeating.

Your body should adjust pretty quickly. After your first carb load, if you hit the goal, you won't want to look at carbs for a week until the next load. Eating 1200+ carbs in 24 hours can be a bitch.

1200+ carbs seems like a dream right now. I've never really experienced anything like this in my life.

Loosing 9 pounds will come fast, especially on a low carb high protein diet. Reason? Water loss... High amounts of protein along with slight glycogen depletion ecourages high amounts of water loss. Assuming you have this in check. What your your "timeline" for reaching your goal?
