We've had some guys do that at our gym Rob. They look miserable. One of our members here (chubrock) did "Murph" in his gear. I think it's 100 pull ups, 200 pushups, 300 squats bookended by two one mile runs. :o

Pushups are getting better, but still bad. But..245 doubles and 94 pushups in 12min isn't too awful I guess.
Going back this evening at 6:00 for a fundraiser workout. 25 min of burpees to raise money for kids. I've got about $125 from co-workers so far and have promised them a video of my suffering.

Did the fundraiser. Only got 231 in 25:00 but I really busted my ass to do it. That pushup WOD in the morning really fatigued my shoulders and it was hard to get back up after 100 or so. Our top bodyweight WOD guy got 353!
I got video of everyone. I'll post it up once I figure out how to time lapse it to 3 min or so. I know almost nothing about Movie Maker.
We did over 3000 burpees with 15 people and raised $1700. Quite a few people turned out just to watch the suffering..lol

Worked out a little yesterday. It's 3 days later and my shoulders and tri's are still so f'n sore from those burpees I actually had to kip to get my shirt off this morning.
Workout yesterday wasn't much.
Stretching and mobility
Tried to do some overhead squats and push press with the bar for active recovery but I couldn't even get the bar overhead without a kip.
Going in at noon today. No idea what I'm gonna be able to do but I'll figure something out..lol
Efforts are fine guy all around, gradually on the rise.
Lol..thanks guys. I went in and did a 5000 meter row at an active recovery pace. Took about 22 minutes I think. They did Fran today but it's my day off work, so it'd be 35 miles and $18 just to go and return. Plus, my right rotator cuff still hurts. Left shoulder is all good but the right side is still unable to press much. Getting better, though.
Headed outside now for a met con. Haven't figured out what it'll be. Probably rope and running.
Ran through my 'hood (I've lived here a year and never did this) from circle to circle 4 times. Got back and checked my app (Log Your Run) and it turned out to be 4.74k. If I'd started the app in the driveway I'd have exactly 5k. Awesome.
But...a full HALF of this is hills. This wore me out, and it's 50 degrees out so my sinuses are on fire..lol
Anyway..28:10 was the time. Considering the hills, I'm happy with it.
I think while the kids are in the bath tonight I'll go setup my weights so I can do a little strength work in the evenings. Lord knows, I need it.

15 Power Clean (135lb)
I can't do a pistol yet (one leg squat) so I did them in box squat fashion. Power Cleans went ok and my back held up pretty well.
How low is your box? Perhaps try squatting ATG (as if you were at the bottom of a pistol), and then stand up with one leg.
Regardless, pistols are quite the bitch.
It was a 20". A little lower probably would have been better. I like your idea. I'll give it a shot.
Lol..I've just decided that you have to commit to falling on your ass of you wanna do them. I saw a video a couple years ago of a guy doing pistols with 135 OVERHEAD. What an asshole..
YMCA tonight. Ran 3 miles. I was stretching on my regular indoor track (usually deserted) when two 300lb guys came in to walk. I had no chance of getting by them. Went to the other track. It was congested and some stupid girl on a Sunday stroll with her friend kept drifting to the inside. More than a few times she came 6 inches from a steamrolling.
Anyway..42 laps, 168 right turns..took about 26 minutes.
Wife gets there about 30min before me every time, so she ends up doing back to back classes while i get my workout in. Haha..poor thing. She's tough though!
Gonna start 5/3/1 at home in the evenings. Hoping to improve strength and get a bit-o muskles over the winter. I'm sure you'll be happy to see some consistent lifting in here..lol

Did 185 for my working sets. Wasn't too hard but that's the heaviest I've had in a bar un a few months since the physical therapy started. Back is feeling good.
Then. 5 rounds of 25 double Unders and 5 box jumps
Then about 20 dead gang pullups/chins and about 10 kips
Friend of mine started today. He did an 8 minute AMRAP of Situps and KB swings. He threw up.
The big guy next to you looks like I feel when having to do burpies. Nice job!

Very tough. Just paced myself. Only one person so far even did the 135. I was planning 95 but my right shoulder can't handle staying locked out that long at that weight. It just collapses. Oh well..
