The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Well finally attempted to video a squat to get on the wall. On my 4th working set today I put on 325 to go for a single and ended doing 2 with great depth (although it took EVERYTHING I had to get the 2nd one up). Was pretty excited about it until I went to stop the video and actually started it. So I guess nobody wants me to post a 27 second video of the inside of my pocket. I'm gonna give it another week or 3 and go for a single in the 340ish range.

It gives you a ton of stability. They're extremely rigid, thereby reducing the amount of stability required by your muscles. It's sorts like the difference between using a machine and using free weights.

Of course, I've never used or even seen a shirt or suit up close. But, I'm pretty sure that'd be an accurate description for the layman.

A suit when used correctly keeps your hips tight and works like a giant spring.

We're gonna keep it setup like it is for now. If there becomes a large, consistent demand for new clubs, I'll throw them up there.

The spotter gave me no assitance at all, I so did not expect him to do that.

Need to get a video of 462+
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

I was 165lbs at the time and had on a single ply squat suit cut for a 18Xlbs guy. I could pull it on and off by myself but I guess technically it was equipped.

Hopefully these will be higher in a few weeks, but I have hit a 655 lb squat and a 375 lb bench @165 in an APF meet since the last time I updated. I don't have the videos, but they were judged and passed.

I plan to have bigger numbers in a few weeks with vids.

Squatted 700 in my meet this past weekend. It was done in the 181 lb class and there is video in the powerlifting section...but it includes bench and deadlift as well.
