Hey everyone, i realized that whenever i do pull excercises in particular that i get this strange feeling in my stomach or my abs where it feels like a slight tickle. This feeling restricts me from doing more reps and sets. Has anybody else here had experience with this? if so what did you do to fix it?
Maybe try rubbing one out before you lift?
PS John, where do you train? I'm looking for a gym.
hey built, ive been training at a community center gym in Richmond lately. I just got into UBC though, and i think i might start working out at Gold's Gym there on campus

I had it happen in phys ed class doing flexed arm hangs in grade 8. Teacher wondered why I was so freaking good at them... I think I broke the class record!

i also noticed that i get this feeling if im just standing there and just holding onto something/pulling something up. i think its coming from my abs or soemthing. Has noone else gotten this before? lol
I have that problem as well. It almost feels like I'm going to tear my abdominal wall and get a hernia.
yea the feeling is always there but seems to start off subtle for the first couple of reps but seems to get more intense as the reps progress. Is that what your gettin as well chickenlegs?
It's similar. The "pain" (it's not excruciating just kind of annoying) tends to come and go in phases. One month i feel fine then another i have the pain. I concentrate on my breathing when it's bothering me. I make sure i exhale when straining.
