    Could someone inform me on the biological value of the most used protein foods out there?(like milk,beef,tuna,egg,cottage cheese etc.)

    I thought egg was 100 and whey was 105 or something? Thanks ... now I'm going to have to find that again!

    I believe egg is 100, because that is what they used for the standard when someone came up with the values. But then they discovered whey was actually higher than the egg. In the end it doesn't really matter what the actual number is, just so you know how well the body utilizes it.

    thats not based on egg being the highest, as this is no longer the case. this is using whey as the max possible BV.
