The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I do not know where to find my favorites folder (bookmarks) on my Mac. I have some links I saved from my old computer and want to move them into the same folder as the one with the ones I added manually.

What browsers are you transferring from/to? Firefox on your PC to Safari on your Mac? If so:

Just open Firefox and expand the bookmarks window. Through 'file', click on export. Save the resultant file wherever and either AIM/email/data transfer it to your Mac. Now that the file is on your mac, just open Safari, click 'file', and pick 'import'; import the file you exported from Firefox.

For future reference, the file that possesses your Safari bookmarks is in Home > Library > Safari. It's called Bookmarks.plist.

Which version of OSX are you using?

edit: you don't need to find your Safari folder to transfer your bookmarks. Just use the steps I listed above.

they should be under libraries, under the root user menu (users, <username>, libraries, safari, bookmarks) or something like that.

    Okay.

Found my library. But, deleted all my favorites by accident.

How can I alphabetically arrange the bookmarks I have now? I don't seem to be able to.

Alas, there is no simple method of sorting bookmarks alphabetically in Safari- which is a pretty ridiculous shortcoming. It can be rectified, though, with a.) third party software or b.) a workaround I recently figured out:

Open Safari's bookmark area > find the bookmark subfolder/entire folder you want to alphabetize > drag onto desktop > open Finder, and open your dragged bookmark folder > set to list view > drag the 'list'ed' folder back into your Safari bookmarks.

Then delete the original unsorted folders.
