The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

What is the cause of the "clicking" sound associated with the movement of certain joints? I'm not talking about the common "cracking" from knee joints or fingers. But rather a clicking sound I get from rotating my shoulders in large circles. What exactly causes this, and how can I prevent it?

My opinion is it has to do with lubrication. When i used to smoke pot everyday, and was dehydrated as hell sometimes i would get that clicking sound when walking (in my knee) or in my rotator cuff. Try staying hydrated all the time and take some glucosamine/ COD LIVER OIL supplements. hopefully those should help.

I don't know the percentage or amount in g's, but it has been increased lately due to living in dorm.
But I have always had this clicking noise for the past year or so...

    Hi there,

I have a major clicking noise when i rotate both shoulders. If I hold the joint that connects my collar bone to my chest area I can feel it clicking. It started when I first started playin golf when I was 17.

Anyway, I went to the doctors with it and he said "just rest it". I did and 9 years later i still have it. It doesn't give me any pain but sometimes the clicking is louder than other times. I've tried taking cod liver oil etc and nothing has helped so I just get on with it.

I'd say, if it's not troubling your then don't worry about it.

It's not bothering me now, but there's the chance it will in the future.
I will just ignore it for now I guess
