I would like to hear what everyone's routine was when they got there best gains.whether that be HIT,Max-ot, volume, static,periodization,HST, circuit and ect. Post the routine if you can.
The routine that got me the best gains, was high volume, twice a week but I was on gear at the time.
My best routine natural is the modified HIT routine that I posted in my journal.
Interested to see what everyone else did to get the most gains.

What works best for me is the standard 3 day split:
I feel gains have more to do with the exercises then the split, because I'm doing more compound exercises now and experiencing more gains.

the best routine that made me grow was
Sweat in time of peace, bleed less in time of war.
I've had success with Westside, straight PLing programs a la Ed Coan, 5-day BB splits, 4-day BB splits, 3-day splits, OL-style programs split across 3-4 days, a 5-day strongman program I tried out, etc etc etc.
As long as I work hard and rest, I can get results from about anything.
Though I have to say, my current program is my favorite to date regarding strength and size gains. I've got another one I like better for Oly lifting/athletic performance.

The best routine I ever followed was a 3 day routine doing squats and accessory monday, deads and accessory wednesday, and bench and accessory on friday.
I went from a 135 lb squat to a 300 lb squat.
I gained 40 pounds on bench
I gained around 100 lbs on deadlifts
The basics just seem to work the best for me
All I did was 45 minutes 3 days a week, only 3 sets on the squats, bench, and dls and only 4 - 6 reps
The accessory stuff was 10-12 reps
It's really quite amazing that lifting less gives you the best results.
