    average maintenance?

I was wondering what an average maintenance would be? I want to figure out what mine is so i can try to eat about 500-750 calories above it.

I'm not sure if age, weight, or anything like that influences maintenance.

If there is any information that would help someone determine my maintenance then i'll give you that.

Yes, age, weight, sex, lean body mass, genetics and all that fun stuff have huge effects on maintenance cals. Track your intake, and figure it out.

also i know that tracking my calories and getting to the point where i'm not gaining any weight is the way to go, but for me it is very hard to find this.
I dont have a scale in my dorm room so i cant weigh myself every morning when i wake up. Also, it seems everytime i weigh myself my weight fluctuates a few pounds either way.
