The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    1) doesn't matter. Some more overzealous/anal members might preach about the horrors of .000000000000000000000000000000000001 grams of trans fat in "regular" peanut butter, but in the big picture it doesn't matter.

2)Wheat, preferably a whole wheat, check the ingredients. White bread is essentially void of any and all nutrients.

3)One isn't "better" than the other. Yogurt is better on the gut(live cultures), but has some sugar if you're worried about that sort of thing. Cottage cheese is virtually carb free, but it tastes like a fat clowns anus. You choose.

4)you can't seriously expect a carte blanche answer here. It depends on a million variables. Age, goals, training experience, the rest of your diet, etc. We need more info.

    Goals: cutting
training: Long time in the weight room, But new to dieting.
I eat like 3eggs on 2 wheat bread for breakfast
    greenbeans for mid afternoon
    2 PBJ for lunch
    greenbeans for before dinner
chicken breast with broc. for dinner
    and maybe something before bed

Does this look good for cutting btw?

I heard eating right before going to bed is not good if you want to cut. Let's say you sleep at 10PM, you should have your last meal or snack no later than 6 or 7 PM.

it's far from optimal, but it's not mindblowingly horrid, either. How's that for vague? Since you took the time to register at a site like this I'd imagine you're at least somewhat serious about your goals. With that in mind, lets get to business so we can get some impressive before/after pics of rinkerxX.

Tell us how much you weigh, and give us an estimate of your body fat. I'll put something together for ya. If you're a lazy bastard and you just want some of the more glaring stuff to be mentioned, I'd suggest the following:

Meal one: Eventually exchange the wheat bread for oats. I like steel cut, my girlfriend digs old fashioned, doesn't matter. Add 4-6 egg whites. Consider adding fruit here. I like grapefruit for its fat burning properties, but in the end its negligible-eat the fruit you dig.

meal two: Green beans are healthy. Green veggies ftw. But they aren't a meal. We need a protein source of your choosing here-chicken, lean steak/beef, pork, couple scoops of protein powder(i like Nitrean, hence, I post on this website ).

meal three:I'd totally revamp this meal from scratch.

meal four: read suggestions for meal two

meal five:cool. Maybe a tablespoon of EVOO drizzled over your broccoli, but it's hard to say w/o knowing your macros for the day.

"Maybe something before bed." LOL. Awesome. Not much to say on that.

Seriously consider posting your macros totals so we can help you "get serious" if you so desire.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

    Looks very low on protein.

Maybe something before bed can be 0 or 1500 cals. What are your daily macros? Calories is what matters. A PB sandwhich can be 300 cals or 800 cals so when you say 2 PBJ sandwhiches that could be a 1000 cal difference just depending on how you make them.
