The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

The whip is pimp, I heard leno is a huge car fan.... could possibly work in your favor. On a serious note, don't stress the squats. If I don't free squat for a few weeks my max drops alot but then is back to normal in 2-3 weeks. Definitely has something to do with the CNS and getting it acclimated.

Thanks man, definitely gonna be a big semester. Kinda on the fence at the moment with this summer coming up. I have the opportunity to do some clinical research (cancer - based), but in the end I want to go into Physical Therapy. So I'm not sure to do the internship, or maybe start doing volunteer work, etc. to build a resume for grad school in phys. therapy. Just not sure The fuggin application is due tomorrow too, FML.

Yea, it's a nice change of pace man. I've never really gone out my whole life, always had sports. So it's all new to me, the bars, etc. It's good times for sure.

LOL. You crack me up man. That's what I figured it was, my mental/physical sides weren't ready to jump back into serious squatting. So as long as it comes back in a few weeks, no harm done.

Thanks man, took a break from the 5/3/1 the last few weeks, just to do some fun workouts, that a "fun" break in the gym.

Hit 315 x 5 on flat last night, not sure if it was a PR but it wasn't bad considering the benches in retro aren't the best for staying tight...happy with that.

405 x 5 on deads last session, the weights still moving pretty good.

Trying to get my weight back up, and get Vizzy ready for a meet soon lol He's due.

    Bench

    Bench
    • 185 x 5
    • 225 x 5
    • 275 x 5
    • 315 x 4 *video + slip*
    • 275 x 6 *video*

    JM's
    • 135 x w/e
    • 135 x w/e
    • 95 x w/e

    Pullovers
    • 80 x 10
    • 80 x 10
    • 80 x 8

    Facepulls
    • 40 x 20
    • 40 x 20

Done. Felt real strong, and would have possibly hit a slow 5th rep on 315, but I slipped down the bench since I forgot my chalk at home. So I'll go for that next week or in the near future. I'll get the videos up in a little.
