    Lifting and growth

I've hurd that lifting will stunt your growth. Is that true? i'm a little curious.

    no.

over trianing may do as you have lack of resources to grow. but then you should not over train. follow the wannabebig routine and eat lots and you will be fine.

Weight lifting is a very safe sport compared to many others. As long as you use good form (!) and don't overtrain you will be ok.

I think it could stunt growth for younger lifters(not sure about the ages), but I'm guessing you don't have anything to worry about.

From what I have heard it only does this for younger lifters.. Supposedly, lifting at a young age will prematurely close the growth plates. Im not 100% sure about this, but I know I have heard it more than a few times..
