An old shot of some amazing strength!

Jon Kuc was one of the strongest powerlifters ever! He first came to prominence as a SHW but later dropped weight due to health issues (you can see how bloated his face is in these pics). The pics are from an old Muscle Training Illustrated and show him squatting 905 lbs in a singlet and pulling over 845 lbs in the same meet!

Wow that is impressive, maybe the human strength potential is about set. With guys back in the day being this strong and raw guys not doing much more now.
Remember, to get big, you have to get strong. The two are interconnected. Lift heavy, work hard, and size will come. Like night follows day. It works. Arnold

No powerlifting was more legit back then, there werent so many injuries because steroids werent abundant like they are today. And the strongest people in the world werent focusing on geared lifting.

If you took bolton and had him train to lift raw for a couple years he would be setting records there to.

No, people just didn't complain about seroids back then. People also didn't make a lot of excuses. They just went out and lifted heavy.

Impressive stuff. Kuc, Kaz, Reinhoudt, Wilson, Anderson, Casey, those were all incredibly powerful men. They would do well even by today's standards.

Leeman, steroids were just as abundant, too. In fact, they were much easier to get because they were legal back then. I don't doubt that some of todays strongest guys like Bolton would compare well to those guys, though. Mendelson already broke the raw bench record and I'm sure Bolton could DL a raw world record if he wanted to and trained for it.

Just so there's no confusion, it's the steroids that make the difference. Not the training style or nutrition. It's all the bean.

Probably coming from someone who's never been to the darkside. Speak of what you know.
