The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

242 power clean and 264 full clean

Ok first up, the power cleans, 100/105/110.For those of you wandering about depth, the intenrational rule of thumb is just at and no deeper then parellel. I have it on good word from my coach and 3 lifters the 110 was infact a power.

    Video

Full cleans, not too bad, Im not shrugging enough at the top and Im dropping under way too early.

    Video

Once again, sorry for the ******ed delay... **** computer camera.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

Your vids always impress me. Great work, dude. Probably only me, but during the vid, it always freezes. I have to skim through it in order to see everything.

Bah, that was clearly a powerclean. I'd say you were at least an inch above parallel, if not a bit more. Hard to tell from the angle, of course, but it looked just fine.

You are really coming along as a lifter. As you said, you are still cutting your second pull a little, but your leg drive is a lot better now than in the videos at your meet. Really, great work so far.

Don't get too much stronger though - I don't want to be outlifted by yet another teenager, regardless of whether or not he is 2 weight classes up from me.
