The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    types of dead lifts

could someone enlighten me on the different types of dead lifts and how to do them?

also what is a hack squat? or rack pulls?

sorry for all the stupid questions...but when i search i just get a bunch of abbreviations that don't mean anything to me.

one more thing, my back squat is relatively weak compared to my dead lift, as in, i can do 305 x5 and its the same intensity as 255 x5.. and i do all my lifts without belts or anything. and i have a feeling that its my lower back holding me back because it feels like my lower back is under alot of stress. i know i have the squat technique down correctly too...

i used to be able to squat way more but i used a belt so it was way different.

    thanks guys..and girls.
    Starting over...

Conventional Deadlift: Bend over and pick up the bar. Arch your lower back, round your upper back.
Sumo Deadlift: Same as Conventional, but use a wide stance.
Romanian Deadlift: A deadlift from just below the knees to standing up.
Dimel Deadlift: Same as Romanian deadlift, only done for speed at high reps.
Stiff Legged/Straight Legged Deadlift: A deadlift with no bend, or a slight bend in the knees.
Trap bar deadlift: Deadlift with a trap bar (hex shaped bar you stand in the middle of).
Hack Squat: Similar to a deadlift. Start with the bar behind your legs bend down and stand up with it.
Rack pull: Deadlift from a rack, with the bar resting on the safety pins, reducing the distance of the pull.
