The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    I'm about to puke...

I made a 2000 cal shake and chugged it in 20 seconds. My mouth is getting watery and is tightening and I feel it trying to come back up. You guys got any ideas on how to keep it down? Should I just puke it out and try again? This is serious, no joke. I'm holding it in as much as I can right now.

It'll fade soon enough. Just keep it down there.

Get some altoids or listerine strips and take those when you feel the upchuck coming on. It works great for me.

What guy in here eats 2000 calories for the entire day?!

I've never heard of taking anything. I usually just lay down on my couch when I feel like this.

I usually just go to a sink, spit the drool out and take deep breaths while NOT thinking about what I just ate/drank. Seems to help.

Haha you came to mind when I wrote this. Notice how I said "guy" in my statement. Now I know others that assume you're a guy, is this rubbing off onto you or what?

Why - I seem even MORE male now?

Damned special vitamins. The guy at GNC who pulled them out from under the counter said they wouldn't DO that.

This could likely be the problem. Drink it more slowly next time and see if that helps.

God, I hate running out of milk sometimes. Creatine + Water just makes me wanna hurl. And isn't the bako shake meant to be consumed throughout your day?

Yup, it happens to me a lot too. I only do a 1000 calorie shake though, but after a tough workout (where I'm already about to puke), chugging a 1000 calorie shake isn't always easy to keep down. Just hold it in, and it will pass.

Puke it out into a cup then drink it again. Why waste all the 'stuff' you put in it?
