it makes me feel better reading this. it s funny though, we read it but the people who need to read it won't. the only way people are going to stop doing this, or get it to stop being so annoying is we need to collectively post this sticky into any thread that breaks said rules and leave it there and not amuse such worthless questions.

Exactly. I post links in threads all the damn time.
It'll probably get old like the "read the stickies" rainbows I used to post in the AZ but it'll be fun for awhile.

Sure, but with all that volume, there probably isn't much intensity. And if they aren't gaining, they probably aren't eating enough (if you did 400 sets for arms and ate 6000 cals a day, your arms would grow). Plus, with all that volume, they aren't doing anything for any other body prats, so they're probably under-training.

A training partner use to say no such thing as overtraining just undereating. part serious part joking

I disagree with # 9. Usually, if someone asks if he's overtraining, he is.

    I disagree with post #18.
If someone asks if he's overtraining he's usually undereating... which puts me in agreement with post #17.
Nothing personal.... just usually a little digging shows the weak link.

Unfortunately in this environment it's difficult to engage someone long enough to fidn teh root of their problem before something bright and shiny distracts them...

My "bright and shiny object is "virtua Girl2".. these little strippers pop up in the lower right of your screeee.....hmm........

If someone has to ask if they're over training, they've never over-trained.

I see guys in the gym before me and still there after I leave. I usually leave drenched in sweat (I do sweat without exercise though)lol, but these guys haven't even popped a sweat bead in 2+ hours. People lift without intensity never trying to move up in wt or reps, but some have the abs! I'm envious to the guys that have abs but, not that envious my 6y/o son and 13 y/o daughter could have abs. done

If this is going to be a sticky, why do you want to put the spelling like that for all the newbies to read?
