The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Flat DB Press form?

I'm assuming the form for Flat DB Press is the same as a regular Bench Press, right? i.e. lower back arch, feet behind the knees etc. Are there any differences I should be aware of?

And as a bonus if anyone has any really good articles or videos about Bench Press form on-hand, that'd be nice. Or personal advice.

One difference to be aware of is you can go deeper with DBs. Which will hit your delts more.

I mean, I get the basics of it. As far as developing an arch in my back goes, should I just throw a towel down there until I get used to enough to go without?

Scooter - I don't believe that DB's get the delts as much as BB at all. I tried a few sets of bb after switchin to solely DB for a while and i felt it big time in my delts.

Anyway, now I do DB and BB mixed.

DGRO - I don't arch at all using DB's but I arch when using the BB. I do go heavy ish on DB's but prefer to go all out on BB instead and arch to push a little more weight.

If you look at this youtube video of Ronnie Coleman you can see he isnt archin at all.
