A couple days ago I decided I was kinda getting sick of it. I lost like 10 or 15lbs, but the strength loss was too much. I actually thought it was a great experience, because I think it would be better to do intermittently-- a month long cut every couple. I want to bulk up a bit to regain the strength, but I want to do it like a smart cut, but up-ing the calories, which just means I want to do a really clean bulk. I want to keep the protein super high, get my carbs from good sources, and keep my fats decent.
Another part of it is throwing-- I kinda feel ****ty going into most practices, and seeing as how this is my last season (only my second season :P), I kinda want to try and do well. I want to keep the sprints and cardio, and hope to build up some explosive power by doing things like cleans and whatnot.
Hopefully I can get some good throws in this season, but that's not gonna happen if I feel like **** every practice. It was a good experience though, and I did definitely notice a difference.
