    Nutrition books

I'm interested in finding a book on nutrition to read and just wondering if anyone had recommendations. I've been lifting and focusing on diet for about 10 years, but would like to get a better academic take on nutrition. I'm trying to stay away from a book promoting a specific diet and think I'm am looking for almost a text book. Interested in detail explanations of digestion, insulin response, protein absorption, etc.

Definitely text book. No agenda generally speaking.
