The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Weight gain in face/neck area

    Hello

I'm a skinny hardgainer just starting a weight gain routine, eating 3,500 cals a day
and all the necessary protein, carbs etc. I'm working out 3x a week doing squats, bench presses,
deadlifts and shoulder presses of 3 sets each, 2 for shoulder presses.

My problem is that I have a very scrawny neck and face which is out of proportion with the rest of
my body (I'm 140lbs, 6ft tall) and although I want to gain weight all over, I'd love to gain ALOT
of weight in my face and around my neck to make me look better.

    Can anyone offer any advice?

    Thanks in advance,

    Simon

How old are u?? <The only thing u can really gain on your face is fat, u can gain some muscle on your neck though. If you have a long face and your still a teenager you'll probably grow out of it.

First, you make me want to vomit. I'd give my right nut to be in your shoes!

Second... Add some shrugs and upright BB rows.

Third... and I dont' know if it'll work, but start chewing gum ALOT. Chew gum and ice at the same time. Chew the gum until it becomes soft again and then add ice again. Repeat.

    Talk more...

    Good luck...

lol@millertime..I saw on the news last night that squating cures cancer as well.. lol...Anywho,
-"I'm working out 3x a week doing squats, bench presses,
deadlifts and shoulder presses of 3 sets each, 2 for shoulder presses. " <-------what does that mean. Give us your exact split. at 6' 140lbs, your quite skinny. Once you put your muscle on, you will probably even out. If your still not satisfied w/it, then I reccomend doin specific neck excercises, Im sure your gym has SOMETHING for neck, also do trap work, that will help a lot..

I notice that I dont put too much fat on my face when i bulk, my jaw line isn't quite so chisled though.

If you want your head to look bigger, I suggest wearing long hair.

that helps, growth hormone helps to it makes your jaw widen and square which is why all the pro's have such square jaws... I heard doing steroids can do the same as well. If your still a teenager dont worry though jaw doesnt stop growing on average till 22.
