The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

First strongman competition from the summer.

Hello. Last summer I competed in my first strongman competition. It's pretty light as strongman comps go, but I think I did pretty well for a first-timer. I came third last (sounds better than 16th), and my two main downfalls were A. infamiliarity with the equipment (first or second time using it), and sub-par conditioning (my body basically gave up on me halfway through the third event). It was a great experience and I met some really strong guys. Last summer I was only strong enough to do that one comp, but this summer I want to do a few more. Enjoy the video.

Pics look good. Give it some time keep training and youll just keep getting better and better.
Success is achieved by doing a little more than you thought you could, and a lot more than anyone else.

That's kind of cool that you went for it. It'll be interesting to see how you do a year later.

Hey I tried to respond to your PM but my post count is less than 15. Hah, that's testament to how little I post. I do tend to lurk.

Cool to see Queen's people here. I've seen your posts before but didn't realize you were at Queen's. Maybe we'll run into one another some time.

Cool pictures and video dude, looks like it was a lot of fun.

I think I've seen you around the PEC many times, I think we may have even worked in with one another on the platform in the varsity room when Mel was giving tips?

My name's Zack. I don't think we've formally introduced ourselves before, I will have to do so next time I see you!

Are there lots of of Queen's people on here? I had no idea.
