if that's the case, then you're not doing it right

those 5 reps should take everything you have left in you and tax your CNS effectively...he explains it in the book, did you read it?

Add more weight (provided you have good form)

You think i should add more weight then? I just don't want to hurt myself. I think I am using good form when doing my deadlifts. It's weird though...even after doing my military press for my shoulders i really dont feel any fatigue(after the exercise that is) even for my back exercises i dont feel much tiredness.

i never really get any post workout lactic acid build up either...like when i wake up the next morning i feel fine...

i just dont get those aches and pains like most people do after a good workout at the gym...

i have made some gains... ive been eating a lot too...but i feel the only gains i have made are around my stomach...and now im getting the feeling that im not working this program right?

im 5'10, I started the rippetoe program 2 weeks ago at 133ish... i weighed in last night at around 138...
    this may sound dumb...but

    Am I doing something wrong?

    thanks for your help

Aches and pains don't mean anything. Be happy you're not sore in the morning. If you're capable of adding more weight and maintaining good form then do it. Getting stronger and eating lots is the key to getting bigger.
