Clean and Jerk
135 all sets. Form work with light weight. Also pressed for time. Need to really hammer down dipping on the catch.
Ball for over two hours. I plan to do the WOD later tonight, depending on how I feel after class. Midterm tonight, so I should be out pretty quick.
Three rounds for time:
Run 400 meters (modified row 400m)
1 1/2 pood Kettlebell X 21 swings (modified 40 lb db)
Horrible time. No stamina on pull ups, but I didn't do any jumps, just dead pull ups, lots of singles.
School has been crazy, so I'm off a day, but no biggie, just stick with that for now.
Good work sticking it out on Helen. Keep doing things as RX'd and you'll improve a lot faster than if you sub and try to get a better time.
Shoulder press 1-1-1-1-1 reps 185, strict
Push press 3-3-3-3-3 reps 185
Push Jerk 5-5-5-5-5 reps 135, really hammered form
I've been working out, just not updating. Getting my diet dialed in as well. Nothing fancy at this point, just running a deficit and making sure I get 200 g protein a day. Weekly weigh ins on Wednesday from now on.
Justin - I agree, the modified versions helped me at the very beginning, but I really need to just go balls out and get after it each day.
Good to hear you've been working hard...keep the protein high and you can't go wrong with this project man.

Justin - 185 is garbage. I maxed out at 230 a few months back, strict, but I tweaked my shoulder, so I'm taking it light. Considering you kill me on all the WOD's and deadlifts, at least I've got you on something.
