    I'm going to win State

In Texas for powerlifting, im about to cut down to 242 and then hopefully if training goes well dominate.

Hoping to total over 1800 being 17 in highschool under the THSPA division, most kids who total that much are usually 19 lifting there senior year.

Then after that I will completely ditch powerlifting and make my move to olympic weightlifting but right now im enjoying my last shot at this sport before it all ends. Just wanted to keep everyone posted on my plans, don't really post as much as I used to anyways.

Good luck to ya. Leave it all on the platform if it really is your last PL meet.

I got a few more practice meets before the big kahuna but yeah im trying to get it in.

Im not as strong as I should have, months of other training has taken away from the big 3 but luckily all the good people graduated last year. After highschool I have nothing left to gain from powerlifting, weightlifting has alot more to offer later but I still want a state title

You have a chance at winning states in your age class in Texas. You're 17, you have extreme potential to go on to the National level when you're older. I know you want to go after Olympic instead, but damn Jinkies, if I were you I'd live, sleep, and breath powerlifting.

I was 19 as a sophomore in college (and techincally for the first month of my Junior year)...how old is the typical hs senior in Texas. Good luck in your training.

Super heavy oly lifter or 105?
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.
