hi guys when i try to bulk it seems to go straight to my gut.
even while I'm eating clean and it really pisses me of
any one else have this problem
Could be genetics... Most of my fat heads to my thighs and arms. If that is the case, than there is no helpin ya!
my routine is mon,chest
each workout is any were from 45min to 1 hour
each morning i try to go for a 30min power walk come back and do my weights.
after my workout i try to finish of with 15mins on the cross trainer doing about 350 calories
I'm 6ft1 and 225pounds my trouble is my arms and legs are skinny compared to my gut!
arms are 15 and half inch legs are 25inch and waist 42inch
Exercises and sets? Reps? That routine doesn't look very good (not trying to be an ass).
Also, what's your diet like? How much protein, fat and carbs are you getting a day?

If its going to your "gut" then your Food intake is wrong. You should only be gaining 1lbs a week, this will help you not pack on as much fatty weight!

im doing at the moment 6x6
So, what, like 6*6 of concentration exercises? Or big compounds? Are you working close to maximum work capacity?

wide grip pull down 6x6
bent over row,6x6
lying leg curl,6x6
standing over head press,6x6
front and side raise,6x6
seated db over head press,6x6
close grip bench press,6x6
tri press down,6x6
You need to get a better routine.
I highly doubt that routine is the reason he's putting on a lot of fat. What is your current height/weight, and how long have you been training?

as stated 6ft1 and 220pound
i have being lifting for 1 and half years
I'm 37 years old
could some one give me a good work out to follow that's going to give me some good gains please it would be really appreciated
Do a search for a Rippetoe routine, a Bill Starr 5*5, WBB1 or BGB (baby got back). Those are all good routines.
I don't think the routine is the issue. What does your diet look like?
this is what i eat
first thing on waking is a protein shake
follow by my 30 min walk
1 cup of oats
then weights for approx 1 hour
30min after workout i have 5 egg whites on two slices of whole meal bread
lunch is chicken breast with broccoli and brown rice
after noon tea fruit and maybe some nuts
dinner changes from chicken breast,or fish, or steak.with either salad or veggies this is normally Monday to Friday
week ends i cheat a bit ha ha
Your diet looks pretty good. Do you know how many calories, grams of fat, grams of protein, and grams of carbs your getting every day? (roughly)

i know that my protein is low I'm around 200grams a day
so i quick question on my chest days is that to much what should it be like can you give me a example please
