    yesterday's blubbles:: tuesday**7/21/08

    :::food:::
    0930p- 10oz turkey kielbasa, 2 cups sourkraut
    1130p- 5scoops ON

    :::cardio:::
    I attempted SPF2.0 but just didn't have the energy to finish it up. I did 4 complex workout sets

    185x4->deadlift/BO row/hang clean/push press/back squat
    205x2->deadlift/BO row/hang clean/push press/back squat
    225x1->deadlift/BO row/hang clean/push press/3 pause reps of back squat

    last set, I mixed things up::

    135x8 deadlift, 135x8 BO row, 135x8 hang clean, 135x8 push press, 135x10, back squat

    I taped the workout but my camcorder is a piece of **** and the disc is damaged so it won't transfer to my computer.

    That workout took me about 20mins with about 2mins between sets (I know, should have only been 60 seconds)..

    Finished up with 45mins SSC on treadmill @ 12% incline, 2.1mph..

    I dont know how you can walk at 2.1mph. I think I would fall off the treadmill, not by it pushing me off... by me walking off of it

    steven- its just fast enough for me to not keep my hands on the front of it, the incline makes me lean forward a bit too.. by the time I do cardio I'm absolutely fried so I want to just stand in place. I'm only walking fast enough to get my heart rate in the 130 range.. lol..

    kong- thanks, high volume is my forte... lol

    mike- lol.. or even a weenie jake? hmmm. haha

    :::food:::
    0100p- pb&j sandwich
    0500p- 1/2 scoop waxy maize, 1 scoop ON, a cup of pasta salad and 1/4 of my fiance's pancake
    **workout @ 615p-715p**
    0715p- 5 scoops waxy maize, 1 scoop ON, 2 scoops powerade concentrate, 1 scoop cellmass
    0900p- 1 bag of tostitos baked tortilla chips, 1/2 jar pace picante sauce
    0930p- 5 scoops waxy maize, 1 scoop ON, 2 scoops powerade concentrate, 1 scoop cellmass

    sleepytime...

    :::workout:::
    incline db bench- 100x10, 120x5
    pec deck- 240x10, 240x10
    pulldowns- 255x8, 255x8
    hs rows- 4 1/4pps x6, 4 1/4pps x6
    low back ext- +45x10, +45x10
    seated incline bb front raises- 30x10
    cable side raises- 30x10(each arm)
    face pulls- skipped due to RC issuess
    seated db shrugs- 110x10, 110x10
    bb curls- 95x8, 95x8
    db hammer curls- 60x10
    db floor presses- 100x8
    cambered bar skullcrushers- 100x8
    seated db overhead tricep extension- 35x8
    leg extension- 205x15
    lying leg curl- 140x10
    incline leg press machine- 270x10
    single leg freemotion calf extensions- 100x12(each leg), 100x12, 100x12

    done..

    Having RC issues with my left rotator. I'm thinking it's from the heavy complexes the other day. Putting 225 over my head then lowering it down to my shoulders and then also the reverse to put it back down. That's how I hurt my RC before. Gonna layoff of heavy (225+) complexes for a while. Took it easy on the shoulders today so I can really blast them on saturday for my 2nd power workout.

    alright, now back to eating!! I'm perfectly on track for about 7700 cals today and clean as ****..

    BAH!!

    got crushed by 365 on teh bench.. I blame it on previously noted RC issues.. strength just wasn't there today for teh bench. Then again, I bench once a month so that's probably why. I'm going to implement a little more strength training into my routine..

    as for teh squat.. vids are upload on youtube right now.. I smoked a 455x1 ATF like it was my job, decided to put 500 on the bar and smacked that around too.. Not sure if 500x1 is ATF but its' ****ing close. I don't think I could have gone any lower without pausing.. and if I paused there's no way it was going back up.. lol..

    here's what the workout ended up looking like:::

    flat bb bench- 135x20, 225x8, 275x1, 315x1, 365xfail, 365xfail, 315x2
    incline db bench- 120x5, 120x5
    incline db flyes- 80x8, 80x8
    squats- 135x8, 225x8, 315x2, 405x1, 455x1, 500x1, 315x5
    lying leg curls- 170x8, 170x8
    db curls- 55x8
    db hammer curls- 75x8
    bent over concentration curls- 35x8
    HS preacher curls- 130x8

    food for the day::
    0700a- 3 cups cheerios, 2 cups ff milk, handful of cashews
    1200p- 4 scoops ON
    0545p- 2 scoops ON, 2 scoops waxy maize, 1 scoop creatine
    *workout @ 6-730p*
    0730p- 2 scoops ON, 2 scoops waxy maize, 1 scoop creatine
    1000p- to be decided..

    NOTE:::: This is the first time I've had anything above 405lbs on my back for a squat since the very beginning of 2006.. Not bad for taking 2 1/2 years off heavy squatting..

    Liquid chalk - no mess and it's easy to use in commercial gym situations.

    I also use chalk in a commerical gym and noone says anything. As long as you clean up they are cool with it. And who the hell is going to say something to a man of your size?

    You guys are funny - I was giving him an option assuming he wasn't using it due to gym regulations. Of course regular chalk is better, but you gotta do what ya gotta do.

    thanks guys, I'll just breakdown and get some chalk and just clean up after myself.. lol..

    no workout yesterday, just at ****-tons of bad food.. oh well.. back on the diet today..

    going to be switching things up though with the diet..

    gonna keep carbs around 70-90g/day, with 90% of those carbs pre/during workout..

    gonna keep protein at bodyweight and the rest of cals will be from fat.. I'm going for 1800cals/day which is a little over 1000cal/day deficit..

    I'll be implementing IF with this as well since my workouts are in the evenings, therefore my first meail will be protein+carbs pre-workout. I'm undecided as to whether I'm going to have 70g of waxy maize with 23g protein pre-workout or 35g waxy maize with 23g protein pre-workout and another 35g waxy maize with 23g protein during the workout.. Opinions fellow diet guru's?

    I'm aiming for a Targeted Keto-type diet.. I'm going to be stepping up intensity in my workouts but I also want to keep fat loss maximal. Goal is to add some strength/size during the next 14 weeks of cutting. It's a long shot, but I've got high hopes.

    Every 3 weeks I'll thow in a complete UD2 style refeed as well.

    Workouts will be::

    Mon- chest/legs/bis/forearms - focus on bench
    Tues- back/delts/traps/tris
    Thurs- chest/legs/bis/forearms - focus on squat
    Fri- back/delts/trais/tris - focus on deadlift

    I'll be hitting AM cardio approx 5-6 days a week to assist with the fat loss.. Any suggestions to make my plan better are greatly appreciated..
