I'm doing Defranco's Westside for skinny bastards routine. Heres what I did for bench today. Monday is my upper with max effort bench day. Last week I didn't work back down after doing 170, but I did today just to see what it would be like.
Set Weight Reps

2 150 8
3 160 6

I'm guessing I shouldn't work back down like that, seems like too much volume (43 total reps). I guess if the first 4 sets don't seem like I'm working up to that 3-5 rep max correctly I need help on figuring how much weight/how many reps I should do before hitting my 3-5 rep max.
180x2... 190x2??? it seems like it should atleast be an attempt... but i don't know the westside version your talking of.
