In "Defranco's Westside for skinny bastards" article he talks about doing a repetition day (Friday) in which you choose a certain weight and do three sets of maximum reps till failure. Claims it helps gain muscle mass. How much truth do you think there is in that statement? I've been following this routine for 3 weeks and want to make sure I'm not wasting my Friday bench workout.
