Well the time has come. We're flying to Hamilton tomorrow and taking a shuttle to St. Catherines for Nationals. Here's the website with some details.

My girlfriend (Ruffian for those of you who remember her) will be lifting Thursday morning at 75kg Junior. I'm lifting Saturday morning at 100kg Junior. I'll have videos of our lifts up at the very latest by the time I get home on Tuesday.

If you're from around there and plan on seeing some of the lifting shoot me a PM and let me know.

Yeah I was shooting for 90kg but I was getting too weak and my gear wasn't fitting anymore.

Kristen lifted today and she did great! Squatted 120kg, benched 85kg and deadlifted 125kg for a cool 30kg PR total (330kg).

I lifted this morning and did really well!! I totalled 675kg.

    Squat:
    235kg
    247.5kg
    255kg

    Bench:
    150kg
    157.5kg
    165kg

    Deadlift:
    240kg
    252.5
    255kg

Red means failed lift and green is a good lift. I'll have some videos up as soon as possible.

I pulled 255kg to place 3rd (by 2.5kg!!). I was really happy with my squat and deadlift today (although I wish I could have taken 260 for the squat.... It was definitely there...) my bench was pretty disappointing... I should have opened heavier and was definitely capable of more but my last couple bench presses went really ****ty in the gym.

All in all, I had a great day and the guys (and gals!) I had helping me out did a GREAT job!

Great job, Deeder. That's an impressive total. Were those all PR's or what?

The squat and deadlift were huge PRs for me. My previous competition best for squat was 230kg and my best for deadlift was 231kg. The bench was 6kg less than my competition best.

My bench training in the shirt had been going really ****ty coming up to nationals so I lowered my opener a lot. Basically what happened is it came off my chest too fast and I couldn't control it. Even after that missed lift my coach jumped me 7.5kg. I wish I would have figured out this shirt BEFORE yesterday!! I definitely think I could have benched 175 yesterday if I had opened heavier.

That's really too bad you couldn't find us... I came around to the spectators side to see a friend who had come from Ottawa to watch me and hoped you might find me then... You probably did see Kristen at subway, she was getting me a sandwich because I was helping a couple guys all afternoon and couldn't leave to eat.

Fine work, Deeder. We are now dead even on DL. What did you weigh in at?

Also a fine job by Ruffian. What class was she lifting in? Those are some very nice numbers by her, also.

My wife (LynnLynn7 on this board) also lifted at the same meet as me on Saturday (all RAW) but had a dissapointing meet for her, though she still broke 2 state records on her openers, and still hit a meet PR on her bench.

Great job by both of you, once again.

98.8kg I think is what I weighed in at. I might be off by a little. I didn't pay that much attention...

Ruffian lifted in the 75kg class but weighed in around 70kg I think. She was very happy with her total, it was a 30kg personal best for her!

    Thanks alot!
