The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Late late night date ideas

I tried searching the internet for ideas, and am having trouble finding exactly what I'm looking for. My work schedule sucks, and on my work days, a date would not start before midnight. I need ideas of what to do. I can drive pretty much anywhere in the Phoenix area, if that helps. She works close to the same schedule, but I live so far out from everything that I don't want to go out during the day, besides the fact that it is getting too hot in the daytime.
Anyone have any good ideas for late night dates?

    Wow....
You are kind of screwed when it comes to going to establishments or parks or something.

Maybe look for an S&M club in your area.

Or find out some of her likes and dislikes and cater to them at your place.
Or do something on a day when you both are off!!

Yeah, like maybe 100 right now?

I've been in 140 for an extended period of time.

I just don't see that as preventing a good time out.

Sounds like a great opportuniy for outdoor recreation to me.

    Aussie here...
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Your the one making this difficult, if it's really that hot go to a lake or pool. I live in Texas and it's not even really hot down here yet, there have been one or two days that were pretty hot but its still not bad...yet.

A club is about the only thing you can do at that hour. A club isn't the best place for a first date, though. Phoenix shouldn't be short on clubs, though. If you could make it out by 10, you could hit a comedy club, which is a GREAT first date.

    Just try to avoid Tyson..

Find a morning you both have available and go climb camelback before it gets too hot. Make sure to let her go first so that you can make sure she doesnt fall and you will have a great view watching her climb!

If it has to be at night, if you aren't looking for something romantic, head up to Old Town and hit up a bar or two. Once they close, head to Mickey's Hangover, they are open until 4.

I thought of another place you could take her at night...Make some dinner and drive up to Saguaro Lake and eat at one of the gazeebos (sp?) overlooking the water. It's up in the middle of the mountains and I'm sure the lake would look awesome on a clear night with the moon.

    bowling is so teenage..

I agree with Camelback.. not sure about Old Town. I'm not a fan of anything they have there, though the Cadillac Ranch is OK (at best). Tempe Marketplace and Mill Ave are pretty nice (I work on Mill Ave).. I live out on power and 202 and I was just telling my fiance they need to build a Tempe Marketplace or Mesa Riverview equivalent out there, it's a pain in the ass driving so far to spend loads of money drinking. And the cabride home is expensive.

On the contrary, there's a cool place called the Monestary over on Brown and Recker (somewhere around there) and they're open till I think 2 and they have horseshoes and volleyball. They only serve beer and wine so that's a downside. It's a pretty chill place that I've been to twice .. lol (I don't like beer or wine)

I agree with Monestary except it closes at midnight on weekdays and one on weekends. The only reason I said Old Town was because he wouldn't be going out until midnight and Mickey's is open till 4. There is a RA Sushi and an Irish Bar at Baseline and Val Vista if you want to stay in the far east valley.

I don't think the suns play after midnight.....

to the OP...a bar would be your best bet assuming they are not stupid and last call isn't 1230 (outside of Boston) or 130 like here in Boston.
