The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    My first 500 squat

Friggin finally. After almost 2 years without a squat PR, I loaded up 500, wrapped up and really blew it away. (This is with just wraps and a belt)

I'll start working in the suit in the next few months and see where I can go with that. The weight still feels like a monster on my back so I'm going to have to work with that and figure out how to handle it better.

    Stats: Age: 34 Weight: 205 Height: 5'6"
    Gym PRs: Squat:635 Bench:560 Deadlift:495
    Meet PRs: Squat:575 Bench:525 Deadlift:510 Total: 1605@220

Thanks everyone. I've been through an awful lot on the way to this milestone. Hopefully I can keep up my pace and make a good push at 600.

Once I am comfortable in my suit (and when I get my shirt working right) I'll get into a full meet and aim for a 1500+

    Thanks guys.

J-bone, I'll be back at Southside by next Friday. Not sure yet if I'll make it this week.

    Cool job
Remember, to get big, you have to get strong. The two are interconnected. Lift heavy, work hard, and size will come. Like night follows day. It works. Arnold
