I have an appointment with my orthopedic on July 30th just to have him take a look, as I never had it looked at. Looking back that was pretty stupid to wait that long.

I can still feel my pec.....i stuck it out and did my plan of 185x3 sets of 10 anyway. I want to get a feel how it is for when I goto the doc. If I rest it I'm afraid It won't hurt for the exam, (which is good and bad, it's good if it's all better but bad if it's still there)then I will go bench for the first time in 9 weeks and it will be sore!

Honestly I've never rested any injury. I've always worked through it one way or another. Today is Friday less than 48 hrs after benching, and it feels pretty good. 24 hours after it was sore.

Probably sore because you haven't gone that heavy on the bench in some time.

I wonder if it's still tight more because you have a lot of scar tissue built up around it?

I'll be interested to see what the doc says.

I had my orthopedic appointment today.

He looked and x-rayed. Good news, is they shoulder joint looks great. Hard to believe with 20 yrs of heavy lifting!

He said he wanted an MRI to see if it is on the verge of rupturing or not. Basically said, this is my body telling me it's about to rupture. Not what I wanted to hear. I have the MRI next Thursday, good times. I hate those things, as I don't fit in very well. To top it off they scheduled 2 time slots, as they think it will take 1hr 10minutes! They told me to get some valium to take before hand....lol. Yes they have OPEN MRI but, they are not as detailed. I need detail.

I also have a script for PT if I want to use it, mostly for ultra sound and stuff.

Well, I did not train legs today.

I had to put my doberman down this afternoon. He would have been 4 in Oct. He was born with congenital kidney disease, and was only supposed to live to 1 or 2.

    RIP MILO.

I have a rib head out in upper left back. this kept me from doing and back movements today.

    buffalo bar speed squats
    15" box
    120lbs of chain
    6 sets of 2
    275x 5 sets of 2 reps. 315x 2 reps for 6th set.

    22" box jumps from a 13" box.
random sets and reps, this was my first time doing these. the last 2 sets I ended up doing 50lbs of additional weight and then 70lbs for sets of 3.

    concentration curls
    25x12
    25x12
    35x12
