    This was my school!

Scary. Thank god nothing serious happened, and no one really got hurt. I commute each day, so obviously I don't live on campus.

Crazy stuff. In the article it says some one got slightly injured but they weren't sure if it was from a bullet. Weird. Always thought you could tell if you've been shot or not...

In this case I think it was an overreaction. This seems like an isolated case of a shooting over a disagreement. I'm not saying it's right to go around shooting people but this shouldn't be made out to be a campus shooting as was the case at NIU or VT.

I'm not saying it is as serious as those cases. It didn't get the attention as those cases, as it shouldn't have. It's just that when something like this happens at your school, it gets a little scary.

I agree, I think I should have clarified that I didn't feel it was necessary to shut the whole school down, because this was not a threat to an entire student population it was probably focused toward one individual much as a street shooting is.

Hey, better safe then sorry. I'm sure the school would rather shut down for a day, and make sure everyone is safe, then to risk another rampage incident from occurring.
