The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    My 677.5x3 belt only squat

Just wanted to share how training is going in case anyone cares. My website should be fully functional soon with a training log and video section as well as a Q&A or comment section.

anyway, here it is, 677.5 x 3 in belt and neoprene knee sleeves. This is my second set, i took rep 3 of first set to low and could finish so i took it again.

    Cool.

Hey Sam, I asked you this in another thread, but I guessed you missed it: What is your training like, seeing as how you are both a powerlifter and a bodybuilder?

it has been evolving over the years down from 6 days a week to 4. Up until very recently, actually the last year since shoulder surgery and getting serious about finishing my undergrad and goin to law school, my training was almost identical to Max-OT style training. if u havent seen it look it up it is well worth it.

i gotta go eat with my mama right now, but ill post more later.

****! 5x3 with that is nuts! You would probably do easy reps with 700.

correct me if I'm wrong, Sam, but Leeman, I'm pretty sure he means 1 set of 677.5lbs for 3 reps.

I use joeskopec.com ( http://www.joeskopec.com/repmax.html) to calculate my rep maxes into a 1rm and it has always been right on for 5 reps or less, and very very close as high as 10 reps. it says a 740 for that and has 635x6 at 760 so it is somewhere right in there.

Awesome squatting Sam; although I was much more enthralled with "Jessi" the Fantasy Sports Girl who popped up after your vid.
