    Maintenance to start with?

    Hey,
    I'm new around here and to lifting....I just have a quick questions about my diet. I am currently eating a lot better after being some what of a takeaways junkie lol and am starting to try to sort out a calorie counted diet. My question is (I have quiet high bf% prob 20-25%) if I have never really lifted before would I be best to eat at maintenance while doing WBB1.1 to try burn some fat then slowly adding in calories as i go? or should i just go all out into a bulking diet?

    Don't bulk at 20-25%. You'll get fatter. Simply maintain your calorie intake and get some weightlifting experience in, then cut calories until you're at a lower bf level, then you can bulk.

    run your typical intake into fitday.com for a week. Figure out what it looks like, and then adjust from there as needed.

    Its hard to do at first but "feeling things out" is usually best. Keep your cals where they are just make sure its all quality foods, not junk. Get into your routine and see how you respond in a week or two. Low on energy? Cant recover from a pec routine a week ago? Gonna need to adjust for that. Never used FitDay.com myself but its probably worth a try.

    Thanks to FitDay that is what I am eating throughout the day up until dinner which I will have to change everyday as I cook as a flat, normally healthy....ish stir fries, spaghetti bolonaise(sorry a bout spelling) etc . Looking ok?
    p.s. I'm severely overweight according to that site LOL

    just weighed myself and I've lost two pounds in last 8 days its a start
