The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

light headed and dizzyness after lifts and shortness of breaths after lifts?

ok first of all im going to admit that my diet has not been like it usually was for the past two months because my mom lost her job and cant afford to feed my eating habit. She said I eat way too much and it costs her too much money to buy weightlifting food, but whatever. Neways just like the title says, I have been having extremem shortness of breaths and feeling light headed to the point of feeling like i am going to pass out during and after my lifts! Is it becaue i havent' been eating enough or what? what could it be? i have never felt like this before?

Exertion headaches often accompany newer lifters. Your body will adapt, and it will fade.

Your just not able to keep up with the demands you are putting on your body. Do some cardio on a regular basis so that your system picks up the pace. Gotta get oxygen to the muscles as well as the brain!

Another thing i'd like to add to this thread. If your mom cant afford to buy you food, why dont you get a job and pay for your own food? I'm sure you could find a part time job in your area. I'll bet your mom would be pleased that your helping out too, even if its just a little extra money for food.

IMHO You're wasting your money on that junk! I am broke 100% of the time!

Find your closest grocery store and ask the butchers when they normally put the meat into the clearence section. Visit that section daily. I eat almost 2lbs of meat a day. 1lb approx 100g/protein at $2.00/lb that is about $1/meal. How much is a burrito? $.80? for what 10g protein?

A can of tuna is $.50 approx 30g protein.

Buy pasta for 1lb @ $1 Prolly more carbs than you need for the day.

    Shop smart!

EDIT: Forgot to add.. Buy Olive oil on sale and dip your meat in it. Pour it over your pasta.
