    My cutting diet

Starts April 1, so I gotta get ready and make the diet now...I made a diet..but it's close, but not close enough...please help, thanks.

My goals for this diet are to be:
    250g protein/281g carbs/41g fat/2500 cals

    meal 1
    1/2 cup oatmeal
    1 whole egg
    2 egg whites
    1 cup skim milk
    16 oz. water
    hydroxycut

    meal 2 (post-workout)
    35g sweet tarts
    1 scoop protein
    5g creatine
    8g l-glutamine
    32 oz. water

    meal 3
    1 can tuna
    2 slices wheat bread
    2 tbsp. low fat mayo

    meal 4
    2 scoops protein
    2 tbsp. peanut butter
    1 slice wheat bread
    16 oz. water
    hydroxycut

    meal 5
    2 egg whites
    2 whole eggs
    16 oz. water

    meal 6
    150g turkey/chicken

    meal 7
    1 can tuna
    1 tbsp. flax seed oil
    2 cups skim milk
    hydroxycut

    This diet is roughly:
    46.5g fat/185g carbs/251g protein/2162.5 cals

So as you see...I am about 49.5 cals high on the fat and 384 cals low on the carbs, and 337.5 cals low altogether. So take out the fat, add in around 96g carbs..and I'm there...bah...thanks.

How does a cutting diet have more carbs in it than protein??

there is no reason why a cutting diet couldnt have more carbs then protein. In the presence of adequate protein and EFA's so long as you are in a caloric deficit the rest of the calories can fall from where they may for the most part.

**As a little side note for the smart asses I dont mean you should get the rest of your cals from butter and sucrose

Take one of the tbsp PB from meal 4 and add it to your turkey chicken meal. Don;t eat protein on it's own IMO.

I personally prefer the look of a modified NHE plan but give it a go. And good luck

Also, at what time is meal 7? I'd advise against taking hydroxycut after 5:00 pm if you want to get to bed at a decent hour.

Nah, I'm fine about the sleeping. I took hydroxycut for 3 months or so and every night at around 10pm...didn't affect me at all.

Well for my postworkout I'll be consuming 12 sweet tarts. 4 sweet tarts have 12g carbs in them, 11g being sugar. The first two ingredients of the sweet tarts is dextrose & maltodextrin.

Well, Keith, you could add them to your evening meals. If you eat green leafy ones, they barely have any carbs. Get out a book and look it up, Keith. Oh, and Keith, good job on the progress.
