    bench press question

is it fine to do flat BB bench and flat DB bench in the same workout? or is it better to just do one of them?

I think it's a fantastic building exercise. I don't believe I've ever read flyes to be bad for you.

Dips are the go. Remember to try to lean forward when doing them so you hit your chest more.

yea i say do flat DB flies, the incline for it is pointless, its just going to work your front delts a bit harder

Lately I've been really focusing on flat bench and dips and I've noticed an increase in strength in all my upper body lifts. My shoulders, chest and tris have made significant, noticeable progress (hypertrophy) in the past 3 months or so since I started hititng these more often than other u/b exercises.

I do weighted but if you cant do 5 with your own body weight id say just work up strength first and then throw some weight on later.
