is it worth the extra money to get the isolate?
the powder im currently using is just about finished, It was whey protein isolate that i bought from GNC for about $60 for a fairly small container (only 22 servings).
Also, does anybody know if the protein powder from costco is any good? gonna go see what they have sometime 2morro morning...
Just get what's the cheapest. There are differences, but it doesn't really matter.
I read online that the concentrate ones have more fat and other crap in it, so none of that matters?
Look at the back of the label and see if there is really a difference. 1g of fat is not going to do anything.

Just use the context of the words to understand exactly what you're asking.
A whey protein isolate should be pure whey protein. A concentrate isn't pure and has some fat and carbs along with the whey protein.
In practice it doesn't really matter. Are 1g of fat and 4g of carbs really worth the extra $30?

Some people get a little bloated on concentrate and have better results with isolate. It's not a big deal though, so if cost is an issue then just get the cheaper one. FYI buying online is usually the cheapest way to go, I haven't looked at Costco's stuff though.
Isolate is much better. More protein per serving and it cuts out all the extra sugars and fats.
