no, it doesnt matter. i havent voluntarily done curls in a single workout in 8 months and my arms have grown an inch. IMHO, worry about curls when you have a slew of equipment at your disposal (a gym), and have a solid workout scheme planned out. when you have the basics nailed down, then i guess you can do curls. but they arent necessary at all, unless you plan on bodybuilding.
