The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Clean Bulk or Cut - Info and Pictures Included

    Hi everyone,

I've taken a couple of mths off the gym due to injuries. I'm planning on going back soon and starting off slowly. I'm just contemplating on whether I should continue to bulk up or possibly cut. My goals are to pack on some mass/size/muscle and lose the fat (primarily in the stomach/love handles region). I was always a toothpick but during my bulking phase, there was a time where I ate junk a couple yrs ago and it caught up to me (sitting in my stomach). I have a really fast metabolism so any junk I eat occasionally doesn't affect me. I'm still skinny and small in many areas and fat in the waist.

I'm thinking about eating a lot (good food) and workout with minor cardio on the side. I would like to maintain my weight..or possibly add to it (my all time goal is 200-210lbs).

Also, is there anything I can do to somewhat straighten the huge curve on my lower back?

Here is how I measure out:

    weght: 192lbs
    height: 5'-11"
    forearms: 11.5"
    hips - 39"
    waist - 40"
    wrist - 7"
    arms-relaxed - 14'
    thigh - 20.5"
    calves - 15"

I'm not sure how accurate this site is (http://www.bmi-calculator.net) but according to it "You have a Body Fat Percentage of 29.08%".

    Thanks

First priority: Watch what you eat. Lift heavy, bench, squat, deadlift. And a bit of cardio. After 6 months you can make the decision what you'd like to do.

Cut down to a lower bodyfat and then do a clean bulk or a slow recomp.

Not very. I just ran mine on there out of curiosity and it said Im at 26%bf. I just did a BodPod eval (http://www.bodpod.com/) and it said Im at 13%. Obviously I trust the BodPod...and I was told that they are sometimes even a tad high.

I'm 31% BMI according to that stupid thing. When right now I can see veins in certain places. Its totally inaccurate when considering active individuals, people that workout or do sports regularly for example. It didn't even take into account your sex!
